Growing stronger farms. Nourishing Families. Building Community.
The Gathering Place is a community-focused market and gathering space created for Bowman and the surrounding area. After years without a full-service grocery store nearby, local families deserve a convenient place to find fresh food, quality products and practical meal options close to home. The Gathering Place is designed to help meet that need while also creating a welcoming space where people can sit down, connect and enjoy time together.

Rooted in Bowman
The Gathering Place is a family-led project built around the needs of the community.
Through our existing Modalan Kitchen & Creamery location, we are already serving ice cream, milkshakes, fresh juices, local meat bundles and prepared foods. As The Gathering Place grows, Modalan will continue supporting the market as its production kitchen and creamery.
Together, the two locations will create a connected community destination centered on food, family and local opportunity.
Our Vision
To Create a Place Where Bowman Can Shop for Fresh Food, Enjoy a Good Meal and Gather With the People Who Matter Most.
Fresh food. Better choices. A place to belong.
